Closing of the Library

According to the provisions of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 8 March 2020, “Measures for the contrast and containment of the spread of the virus throughout the national territory”, the opening of places of culture is suspended (Museums, Archives, Libraries, Archaeological Areas and Parks, Art. 101 Codice dei Beni culturali e del paesaggio DL 42/2004).

Therefore, the Library will remain closed to the public from today and until new government regulations are issued.

Loans, document deliveries and interlibrary loans are suspended.

Patrons can keep materials that are currently checked out until we re-open, we won’t suspend account for late items. If an item you’ve checked out was already overdue before the Library closed, it is still overdue; those due dates were not extended.
